Set your puppy up for success with this hour-long session revolving around raising a well-adjusted puppy with a strong foundation. The service dog version will focus on building a foundation for an engaged, calm, and trainable working dog. Includes early exposure work if requested. Recommended for puppies ages 2 months - 6 months old.
Covers: Potty training, crate training, socialization/exposure work, bite inhibition, confidence building, impulse control, positive grooming foundation, desensitization to handling, walking skills, engagement skills, manners foundation, and more.
SoloVenture Session - (Add-On)
Add on for a session where I stop in to work with the dog myself, either with or without the owner. Can take place at the client's home, or another location. I will pick up + drop off the dog unless otherwise requested. Travel charge applies for a second location.
Helpful for busy clients by keeping dog consistent on training, encourages the dog to work with someone else, and allows one-on-one learning from trainer to dog to build quick success without interruptions.
Depending on the Session's Format: A session summary will be sent to owners afterward, as well as an overview if needed.
Available as an add-on for any Standard and Service Dog Training services.
Additional travel costs apply for a second location.
Potential Service Dog Evaluation(s) - $50 (per location) + travel fee (if applicable)
Session evaluating puppies or older dogs for service work. Includes a custom behavior assessment ("temperament test") designed by Right Track Canines based on successful testing methods, existing behavior assessments, and personal experience.
PAT Prep - $50
Session testing a service dog's public access skills in preparation for taking a Right Track Canines modified version of the Public Access Test (PAT).
The PAT is not legally necessary for service dogs, but it is a great way of testing your dog's skill and recognizing your teamwork and completion of the criteria of the test.
PAT Testing - $80 + Graduation Equipment Fee
Session testing a service dog's public access skills. The Right Track Canines Public Access Test (PAT) will be taken during this session. Upon completion, the team will graduate and receive a Right Track Canines PAT Certificate of Completion.
The PAT is not legally necessary for service dogs, but it is a great way of testing your dog's skill and recognizing your teamwork and completion of the criteria of the test. Upon completion of the PAT, the Service Dog Team will graduate from the Right Track Canines Service Dog Program. The Certificate is not a legal document to recognize your dog as a service animal. It is to recognize your achievement, just like any other program completion.
Upon graduation, dogs will receive an updated program patch (or vest/harness if requested) and a certificate of completion from the program. During training, dogs will receive a program patch (or vest/harness if requested) to signify their status. Annual re-testing and certification are strongly recommended (accommodations can be made for re-testing and certification on a case-by-case basis).
